Our first steps
on northern Patagonian soil.
We stepped into crisp winds,
a gorgeous mountain backdrop,
and shades of sunrise.
Bariloche,
a town of rustic looks
at the foothill of the Andes.
For one,
a feeling reminiscent
of Banff and western Canada.
For the other,
a charming atmosphere
all new to the eyes.

After a detour in the woods,
a winding bus ride
led us to Colonia Suiza.

A small village,
once an old Swiss settlement.
In a tranquil setting,
we indulged in
delicious ice cream
and local chocolate treats.
